Job summary

Cosworth Group Holdings Limited is seeking a CMM Operator to operate PC-DMIS and Zeiss CMMs and perform hard-gauging on engine components. You will ensure inspections are carried out promptly and escalate any issues to production and engineering.

You will deliver component inspections as directed by engineering, support 5S and continuous improvement, and work flexibly to cover varying workloads. Liaise with production to resolve non-conformances while prioritising health, safety and data

Qualifications

• CMM operating experience.
• Experience handling measuring equipment.
• Experience within a Metrology background.
• Understanding of engineering drawings.
• Understanding of GD&T.
• Engineering apprenticeship or equivalent training.

Responsibilities

• Deliver inspection for manufactured components in a timely manner as directed by engineering.
• Support 5S and continuous improvement activities in the department.
• Be flexible to assist with workload and cover shifts when required.
• Liaise with production and engineering to resolve non-conformances found during CMM inspection.
• Consider health, safety, environmental and energy impact of all activities.
