Job summary

Northamptonshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust in Daventry is recruiting an Operational Manager (Band 7) to lead the Rural Community Mental Health Team. This permanent, full-time post (37.5 hours) requires strong operational leadership to ensure safe, high-quality care and effective service delivery within the CMHT.

You will supervise staff welfare, drive performance, manage resources and coordinate with partners across health, social care and voluntary sectors.

Qualifications

• UK professional registration is required.
• Leadership/Management qualification is required.
• CMHT leadership experience is desirable.
• Experience in safeguarding and incident management is expected.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety, welfare and line management of staff; manage sickness, performance, wellbeing and conflicts.
• Use systems like Healthroster, ESR, SystmOne and audits to monitor KPIs and quality.
• Chair business meetings and staff training days; disseminate information from senior management.
• Oversee PALS, complaints and compliments; work with users and carers to resolve concerns.
• Collaborate with Clinical Lead to ensure safeguarding and policy adherence.
