Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership, managerial and supervisory responsibility to a multidisciplinary team including nurses, social workers, OT’s and Psychological Therapists. Deliver assessments and interventions within adult community mental health services.
  • Balance workload between active clinical work and management duties as staff numbers vary.
  • Support clinical manager and collaborate with other team managers to continually develop the service and ensure delivery of the Community Mental Health Team.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Team Leader working at the Craven Community Mental Health Team (CMHT), covering a large geographical area.

Our Community Mental Health Teams (CMHT) are always striving towards excellence in service delivery, ensuring quality is at the forefront of all we do and service users receive the right care at the right time.

The successful applicant will be dynamic and forward thinking with the ability to work as part of a team and in partnership with local services across systems and partnerships.

There will be an expectation that the successful applicant will uphold the Trust values at all times and act as a role model within the teams in providing quality care.

The post holder will provide leadership, managerial and supervisory responsibility to a group of practitioners working as a multidisciplinary team including nurses, social workers, OT’s and Psychological Therapists. providing assessments and interventions within adult community mental health services.

The numbers of staff supervised will determine how the workload is managed between active clinical work and management responsibilities.

The post holder will assist the clinical manager and work alongside the other team managers in continually developing the service and ensuring the delivery of an Community Mental Health Team

Partnerships will include GPs, other mental health services, learning disability services, social care, physical health services, consultation to professionals in the primary care services and other adult mental health services including the voluntary sector.
