Job summary

Millennium Hotels and Resorts seeks a Cluster HR Manager to oversee day-to-day People operations across Copthorne Slough and Copthorne Gatwick, focusing on employee experience from onboarding to retention. You will build trusted relationships with hotel leaders and provide expert advice on HR matters across the cluster.

You will support recruitment, engagement, wellbeing, training and development, lead talent reviews, succession planning, and implement policies in line with UK employment law.

Responsibilities

• Support Senior Managers with employee relations, wellbeing and people policies, and oversee ER cases.
• Assist Managers with recruitment needs and onboarding for new starters.
• Collaborate with central HR functions, conduct talent reviews and maintain robust succession plans.
• Organise and promote employee engagement initiatives across business areas.
• Support talent acquisition events, graduate/intern placements and external partnerships.
• Keep up to date with best practice, development and legislation.
• Assist in delivering HR initiatives, policies and regional projects.
• Contribute to the communication strategy for employees.
• Drive the employee lifecycle from recruitment through development and exit.

Job description

Millennium Hotels and Resorts is looking for a Cluster HR Manager who will play a key role in providing support across the department while managing the day-to-day running of the People department, focusing on employee experience from onboarding, induction, engagement, recruitment & retention, training & development and well-being.

Based at either Copthorne Slough or Copthorne Gatwick, and responsible for both hotels, you will build and maintain trusted relationships with key stakeholders and provide sound, expert advice. Cluster HR Manager responsibilities:

• Supporting the Senior Managers with employee relations, health and wellbeing and people policies, providing support and guidance on HR issues, concerns and queries and overseeing ER cases
• Assist Managers with recruitment needs ensuring the best on boarding experience for new starters
• Working collaboratively with central HR functions, conducting hotel talent reviews and maintaining robust succession and attraction plans that meet immediate and future workforce demands.
• Organise and promote employee engagement initiatives throughout your business areas
• Support in the delivery and coordination of talent acquisition events, attraction initiatives/projects, graduate/intern/apprentice/work-experience placements and external talent acquisition partnerships.
• To keep up to date with best practice, personal development and legislation
• Assist in the delivery and communication of new HR initiatives, policy and procedures and participate in regional projects as they arise.
• Support in the effective communication strategy for employees.
• Drive the employee lifecycle; recruitment experience, on-boarding journey, performance reviews, development & succession, exit interview support.
