Job summary

Wilson James is seeking a Logistics Operative for the Building Management Services team at Hinkley Point C, Somerset. You will support site logistics, waste management, signage installation and stock control, while assisting contractors and maintaining safe systems of work.

This permanent role offers about 40.25 hours per week, a 4 on/5 off pattern, and a starting salary of £15.72 per hour, rising to £17.77 per hour after completing the progression pathway.

Qualifications

• CITB Operative Health & Safety Test must be completed before starting.
• Good communication skills and ability to follow Safe Systems of Work.
• Strong work ethic and reliability; ability to work in a team.
• Full UK Driving Licence required.

Responsibilities

• Installing wayfinding and emergency signage.
• Waste management and segregation.
• General housekeeping and site cleanliness.
• Receipt and stock control of consumables and equipment.
• Providing logistics support to contractors across site.
• Vehicle maintenance and housekeeping.
• Adherence to Safe Systems of Work and HPC Code of Conduct.
