Job summary

AWS is seeking an engineer to help build and operate the world's largest cloud computing infrastructure across Compute, Database, Storage, IoT, Platform and Productivity Apps services. You’ll work in a fast-paced environment focused on reliability, performance and innovation.

You will need to be a UK national and able to obtain UK Government Security Clearance; this role involves working within AWS UC to drive scalable solutions and maintain security standards while delivering value to customers.

Qualifications

• Experience in Linux OS and network troubleshooting, or experience with programming/scripting and automation
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent Engineering experience
• Knowledge of configuration management systems (CDK, Puppet, Chef, Ansible)
• Experience automating software deployments and continuous delivery/deployment

Responsibilities

• Support development and management of Compute, Database, Storage, Internet of Things (IoT), Platform, and Productivity Apps services.
• Be able to obtain and maintain UK Government Security Clearance; collaborate with teams to ensure secure and compliant deployments.
