Anson McCade Pty in Leeds is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to join a major national security programme. The role focuses on building and optimizing resilient cloud platforms, with emphasis on AWS, automation and observability.

You will work with DevOps practices to improve scalability and reliability in a secure environment. Candidates must have 3+ years in SRE/DevOps, strong Linux skills and hands-on AWS experience, and be eligible for DV security clearance.

Formación

• 3+ years' commercial experience in a Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps or Platform Engineering role.
• Strong hands-on AWS experience.
• Excellent Linux administration and scripting skills.
• Experience with infrastructure automation and configuration management.
• Knowledge of container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience supporting production environments and troubleshooting across the technology stack.
• Familiarity with monitoring and observability tooling.
• Experience working within Agile delivery teams.

Responsabilidades

• Improving reliability, availability and performance of critical platforms.
• Automating operational processes to reduce manual intervention and improve efficiency.
• Building and maintaining cloud-native infrastructure, with a strong focus on AWS.
• Monitoring, troubleshooting and resolving complex infrastructure and application issues.
• Working closely with engineering teams to improve system resilience, scalability and observability.
• Driving DevOps and SRE best practices across the wider engineering function.
• Supporting containerised and microservices-based environments.
