Job summary

CGI is seeking experienced Site Reliability Engineers to join cross-functional teams supporting secure, cloud-based and big-data platforms in the UK. You will help design, build, operate, and continuously improve highly reliable, scalable systems within a secure environment and work onsite.

Role requires UK nationals with DV/HLC clearance. You will work with a modern stack (AWS, OpenShift, Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Kubernetes) and collaborate with delivery teams to ensure

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Site Reliability Engineer or DevOps in secure, cloud-based environments.

Responsibilities

• Architect, build and operate cloud infrastructure.
• Design secure, scalable, fault-tolerant infrastructure across AWS.
• Support and operate live systems.
• Maintenance of deployment environments and changes to live services.
• Collaborate with teams; produce runbooks and architecture docs.
• Automate provisioning with Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, and scripting languages.
• Build, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, and related tooling.
• Monitor, log, alert, and optimise using Grafana, ELK Stack, Prometheus, and SonarQube.
• Ensure IAM, encryption, network controls, and secure configurations per standards.
