Zusammenfassung

BPP, part of Lyceum Education Group, is seeking an experienced Security Engineer to embed security into the software development lifecycle across cloud and on-premises environments. You will conduct secure code reviews, configure secure cloud settings, and coordinate vulnerability remediation with cross-functional teams.

The role requires collaboration with Platform, Engineering and Compliance teams and may involve DBS checks as part of safeguarding processes.

Qualifikationen

• 2–5 years of experience in cloud or application security.
• Familiarity with common vulnerabilities and tools.
• Experience in secure SDLC practices and CI/CD pipeline security.
• Hands-on experience with IAM tools and practices.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS preferred).
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams.

Aufgaben

• Secure coding: conducting secure code reviews and assisting in identifying vulnerabilities; collaborate with developers to implement secure coding standards.
• Cloud security: support configuration of secure settings across our Cloud Infrastructure; monitor compliance and misconfigurations; enforce security policies across the SDLC and support secure architecture for cloud-native and hybrid systems.
• Vulnerability management: patching and remediation coordination; conduct regular vulnerability assessments and scans; use risk-based analysis to prioritise issues for remediation.
• Communication & collaboration: work cross-functionally across Platform, IT and Compliance teams; lead workshops or knowledge-sharing sessions for staff and engineers.
