Job summary

FIS is seeking a Senior Manager, Cloud Engineering to shape the cloud infrastructure strategy and lead a team of cloud engineers. You will own the platform vision, roadmap and backlog, partnering with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, secure cloud services.

You will drive IaC, CI/CD, governance and cost optimization while mentoring engineers and aligning priorities with business objectives. This role expects strategic thinking and hands-on leadership in AWS environments.

Qualifications

• Expert-level knowledge in cloud engineering or related discipline.
• 5+ years leading cloud platform engineering and IaC in AWS multi-account environments.
• Experience owning or shaping a product/platform/service roadmap.
• Demonstrated ability to improve processes, platforms or products.

Responsibilities

• Define and communicate cloud platform vision, roadmap and backlog aligned with business objectives.
• Lead end-to-end product and platform lifecycle, including delivery oversight and operational support.
• Mentor and grow a high-performance cloud engineering team and conduct performance reviews.
• Collaborate with security to manage risk and ensure compliance and governance.
