Job summary

Flui Technologies is seeking a Head of Cloud Platform Engineering to own and operate the AWS cloud estate, blending hands-on design with accountable governance. You will lead architecture decisions, drive resilience, and ensure cost efficiency across national-scale data processing for critical energy-market platforms.

You’ll collaborate with engineering leadership, own FinOps and security, and mentor a growing platform engineering team while maintaining on-call readiness and incident response

Qualifications

Experience owning cloud platforms for regulated/high-availability businesses.
Balance technical excellence with cost, risk and delivery pace.
Familiarity with ISO/IEC 27001 and security best practices.

Responsibilities

Own component-level architecture of Flui’s AWS cloud estate, including open-source components.
Operate and improve platforms underpinning MarketFlow, MeterFlow, and DCC adapter at national scale.
Define and maintain disaster recovery, HA and capacity plans for critical infra.
Own FinOps: cost visibility, forecasting, tagging, and cost optimisation.
Own cloud security posture: IAM, encryption, vulnerability management, and compliance alignment.
