Version 1 is seeking an experienced Tech Lead to join its Digital Data & Cloud Practice. You will lead cloud-based software projects across public and private sectors, mentor team members, and drive architecture, design, and delivery with a focus on scalable, secure solutions.

The role requires deep cloud experience, strong TDD and CI/CD discipline, and expertise in microservices and modern architectures. Flexible/remote working and extensive benefits accompany this challenging opportunity.

Formación

• Deep understanding of coding best practices and modern architectural patterns, including microservices and message-driven architectures.
• Hands-on coding with frontend (Angular) and cloud-based applications.
• Strong experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD) and robust testing suites for CI/CD.
• DevOps focus with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Ansible, Packer, Docker).
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes or OpenShift for containerisation and orchestration.
• Experience deploying solutions on Microsoft Azure with Azure services (Functions, Cosmos DB, Blob Storage, VM) and cloud-native design.

Responsabilidades

• Designing, developing, testing, and maintaining cloud-based software applications.
• Technical leadership within a team to deliver scalable, secure solutions with good software engineering practices.
• Work within an agile delivery methodology.
• Own product or software solution design, estimation, shaping and user story creation.
• Document solutions (architecture, configuration, release, support-handover).
• Collaborate with Version 1 and customer stakeholders across the lifecycle.
• Communicate complex designs clearly to stakeholders of varying technical abilities.
• Provide knowledge transfer to team members and customers.
• Coach and develop junior team members and foster collaboration.
