Job summary

Version 1 is seeking an experienced Tech Lead for its Digital Data & Cloud Practice to drive large-scale transformation and migration projects across public and private sectors. You will own cloud-based software delivery, lead technical directions, and ensure code quality in a fast-growing practice.

The role offers opportunities to work with modern cloud technologies, mentor peers, and influence architecture while navigating agile delivery and collaboration with PMs, BAs, Testing, and Product

Qualifications

Deep understanding of coding best practices and modern architectural patterns.
Experience with microservices and message-driven architectures.
Experience in digital services design.
Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines and SOLID/DRY principles.
Hands-on in frontend and backend tech: Java/Spring Boot, JavaScript/TypeScript, Angular, React, Node.
Cloud technologies experience and security-aware development.
Ability to estimate and size work; API design and integration.
SC eligible for security clearance.
Strong communication of designs and collaboration with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and maintain cloud-based software applications.
Provide technical leadership to coordinate scalable, secure solutions.
Work within an agile delivery methodology.
Own a product or software solution across design, estimation, shaping and requirements.
Document architectures, configurations, releases and handover details.
Collaborate with Version 1 and customer stakeholders across lifecycles.
Explain technical designs clearly to diverse audiences.
Transfer knowledge to team members and customers.
Mentor and develop junior team members.
Foster a positive team environment and collaboration.
