Job summary
VanRath is seeking a DevOps Engineer / Cloud DevOps in Belfast. The role focuses on designing and improving CI/CD pipelines, managing cloud infrastructure (Azure or AWS) and implementing IaC with Terraform. Hybrid working is offered, with standard Monday–Friday hours.
You will automate deployments using PowerShell, Python or Bash, monitor performance and collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize delivery.
Qualifications
- , Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science or related field.
- , Commercial experience in DevOps, Cloud, Platform or Infrastructure Engineering.
- , Strong understanding of CI/CD with tooling like Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions or Jenkins.
- , Experience with Azure or AWS cloud platforms.
Responsibilities
- Designing, maintaining and improving CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test and deployment.
- Managing and supporting cloud infrastructure in Azure or AWS.
- Implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform or similar.
- Automating operational processes using scripting languages.
- Monitoring system performance and reliability for continuous improvement.
- Collaborating with development and infrastructure teams to troubleshoot and improve deployments.
