Job summary

Willis Re Bermuda is seeking a Solution Architect to shape and deliver cloud-native solutions, with an emphasis on data engineering and AI-enabled engineering practices. You will own end-to-end design across greenfield initiatives, collaborating with architecture leadership, engineers, and partners.

Ideal candidates bring hands-on software engineering roots, strong Azure expertise, and a track record of data-intensive system design within financial services or reinsurance.

Qualifications

• Extensive hands-on software engineering experience transitioning to solution architecture.
• Experience designing data-intensive systems, ideally in financial services.
• Proficiency with Azure cloud services, CI/CD tooling and modern UI frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Design secure, scalable cloud-native solutions on Azure.
• Lead end-to-end solution design for greenfield initiatives.
• Define and govern integrations with market platforms and vendor SaaS.
