Job summary

Google Cloud Platform is seeking a Customer Engineering Manager in the United Kingdom to lead a team of experts delivering trusted technical advice and accelerating workload migrations. You will foster technical ownership and guide architecture, delivery, and consumption strategies across Google Cloud products.

You will mentor engineers, collaborate with sales on go-to-market plans, and drive successful outcomes with customers and partners.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
10 years of cloud native architecture experience in customer-facing or support roles.
Experience with cloud engineering, on-premise engineering, virtualization, or containerization platforms.
Experience with technical conversations, demos, prototyping, or workshops with customers.
Experience with leadership: people management, team lead, mentorship or coaching.

Responsibilities

Lead a team of Customer Engineers focusing on culture, talent strategy and skills development.
Foster partnership and provide thought leadership on cloud and cross-pillar solutions.
Partner with Sales to define technical go-to-market strategies and staffing needs.
Balance technical leadership with operational excellence and migration strategy insights.
Collaborate across Google, partners, and customers to resolve technical roadblocks.
