Job summary

Google Cloud seeks a senior, customer-facing technical expert to drive engagements with leading customers across industries in the Greater London area. You will partner with sales to identify opportunities, guide technical solutions, and ensure successful delivery of cloud and AI initiatives.

The role emphasizes deep understanding of cloud platforms, AI technologies, and effective communication with both technical and business stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, Engineering, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 10 years of experience in a customer-facing technical role in the cloud computing industry.
• Experience in Cloud Platforms (e.g., GCP), AI for retail use cases, Gemini or related AI Technologies.

Responsibilities

• Manage the technical relationship with customers, including product/solution briefings, proof-of-concept work, and coordinating additional technical resources.
• Identify and qualify business opportunities, address customer technical objections, and develop strategies to resolve blockers.
• Test and inspire customers and peers to solve difficult issues with ambitious, novel solutions using a sophisticated set of technical competences.
• Recommend migration strategies, enterprise architectures, migration tools, and cloud infrastructure to implement a complete solution on Google Cloud.
