ACCA Careers in the United Kingdom seeks an experienced bookkeeper to support a growing accountancy and advisory group with varied client portfolios. You will manage day-to-day finance operations, work with cloud accounting systems, and liaise directly with clients.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' bookkeeping experience in practice or industry.
• Strong VAT knowledge and accuracy.
• Experience with cloud accounting software (Xero, QuickBooks, Sage).
• Proactive, detail-oriented with good client communication.

Responsibilities

• Manage bookkeeping and accounting records for a varied portfolio of clients
• Process financial transactions and maintain accurate records
• Reconcile bank, supplier, and control accounts
• Match PO to invoices and process payments
• Prepare and submit VAT returns
• Maintain cloud-based accounting systems
• Support month-end and year-end processes
• Monitor online bank feeds and data integration
• Interact with clients to resolve queries
• Collaborate with internal teams for timely delivery
• Assist clients in adopting digital accounting processes
