Job summary

HR Heads is hiring an Onboarding & Compliance Manager to lead a high-performing function for a large clinician workforce. This hybrid role balances strategic improvement with hands-on delivery, reporting to the Head of Workforce Operations and overseeing the end-to-end onboarding and compliance process.

You’ll drive performance, ensure audit-ready records and maintain service levels in a fast-paced, regulated environment, coaching a Team Leader and supporting growth through scalable processes.

Qualifications

• Experience leading onboarding, compliance, credentialing or workforce ops teams.
• Background in regulated environments such as healthcare, NHS, education or social care.
• Strong stakeholder management and data-driven decision making.

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day onboarding and compliance function.
• Manage onboarding pipelines, service levels, volumes and performance metrics.
• Ensure onboarding activity is delivered accurately, efficiently and within timescales.
• Work with workforce planning and stakeholders to align demand and priorities.
• Identify risks and capacity challenges, implementing proactive solutions.
• Provide reporting on performance, risks and actions.
• Drive business continuity during peak demand.
• Oversee audits and ensure compliant processes within a regulated environment.
• Lead improvements across onboarding and compliance processes.
• Develop scalable processes to support growth.
