As a Clinical Team Leader, you will lead and coordinate the quality and management of nursing care at Pinhoe View providing specialised services for people with acute mental health conditions.

With previous experience from the NHS or private sector, you will be responsible for the clinical environment and managing the clinical services throughout the wards and units.

As a Clinical Team Leader you will be

• Accountable for the safe and effective clinical and operational functioning of a defined unit
• Providing clinical leadership to a defined staff group
• Providing support, guidance and supervision to staff
• Developing and create an environment that supports competent ethical nursing care
• Influencing work objectives, planning and organisation
• Developing and implement strategies to facilitate effective communication pathways

To be successful you will have

• Relevant experience as RMN/RNMH
• Professional training in a similar environment
• Recognised mentorship certification and an NVQ Assessor Qualification
• Administrative, planning and organisational skills
• Knowledge of the organisational policies and procedures

Where you will be working

Pinhoe View is a new purpose-built facility where a range of mental health services are provided for adults with acute mental health conditions across two wards and eight individual flats.

The 24-hour acute inpatient service is supported by a full multidisciplinary team, which specialises in the assessment, treatment and stabilisation of people suffering from a significant mental health episode and in crisis .
