Job description

Job Responsibilities
  1. Support the management and expenditure of all temporary staffing throughout the Trust, including bank and agency staffing, excluding Medical Staffing.
  2. Work in conjunction with senior clinicians and managers to identify required resources, timescales, and review establishment.
  3. Support the bed management process across all adult and older persons inpatient units, including Out of Area beds when required.
  4. Ensure compliance with National requirements, internal governance, and improvement plans.
  5. Deputise in the absence of the Corporate Services Manager.
  6. Undertake the role of clinical in-reach for individuals placed in Devon beds not in their locality, acting as recovery coordinator until allocated or discharged from the ward.
  7. Ensure robust support is in place for all individuals placed out of area or out of locality, including their carers and families.
  8. Support and facilitate the movement and transfer of patients to the correct locality as appropriate.
  9. Facilitate the discharge of patients within other localities to their respective areas of residence.
  10. Provide relevant supervision and guidance to the Band 6 repatriation officers.
