Job description

Job Description

As part of a multidisciplinary team, the post holder will carry out care duties for patients, supporting a registered nurse, and will regularly work unsupervised.

The post holder will perform assigned duties to maintain hygiene, order, and safety within the ward environment. Duties may vary depending on the ward/department and the degree of patient dependency.

Candidate Requirements
  • SVQ III in healthcare or equivalent experience in a caring environment.
  • Ability to work with people and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to perform patient care tasks effectively in a busy environment.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Participation in Personal Development Plan for ongoing professional development.
  • Basic knowledge of information technology.

Note: For vacancies requiring a driving licence, a full UK/EU/EEA licence is mandatory.

Contract Details

This is a permanent, part-time position (23 hours per week). The salary will be pro-rata.

Location and Working Pattern

The role is based at Ladyhome Hospital. Applicants may be considered for similar roles in other locations.
