Job summary

The Pall Mall Surgery in Leigh-on-Sea is seeking an experienced Clinical Support Lead to oversee our Clinical Support Team and improve patient services. You will manage workflows including AI-assisted processing, e-Consults, blood test recalls, and QOF annual reviews.

You will work with GPs, Practice Managers and department leads to streamline processes, enhance patient experience, and support high‑quality care.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the Clinical Support Team in delivering accurate and timely administrative services.
• Ensure directives and operational changes are communicated and implemented consistently.
• Drive continuous improvement by streamlining workflows and optimising systems.
• Collaborate with GP leads and managers to improve document management and reduce workload.
• Support QOF recall programmes and patient engagement.
• Assist with investigation and resolution of complaints related to clinical support.
• Coach, mentor and develop team members for career progression.
