Clinical Specialist Radiographer – MRI

Canary Wharf Outpatients / London Bridge Hospital

Contract Type: Permanent

Full Time, 37.5 hours per week

Hours: Compressed into 4 days, 2 short and 2 long days – open for discussion

We’re looking for a Clinical Specialist Radiographer to join our MRI team at the Canary Wharf Outpatients, part of our London Bridge Hospital, currently rated “Outstanding” by the CQC.

HCA Healthcare UK has recently opened an £18 million, 20,000 sq. ft state-of-the-art outpatient and diagnostics centre in Canary Wharf. The centre offers a new level of healthcare quality, capability, and accessibility.

The London Bridge Hospital campus in South East London includes an outpatient and diagnostic centre in The Shard, the large hospital at Tooley Street, Private Care at Guys (on top floors of Guys Hospital Cancer Centre), and outpatient and diagnostic centres across the City and Canary Wharf.

As a Senior Radiographer within MRI, with ideally cardiac experience, you’ll provide a customer-focused, high-quality diagnostic radiography service, undertaking all MRI procedures. This role will primarily cover four sites, each offering MRI specialties including Neuro, MSK, Abdomen, ENT, Angio’s, and Cardiac scanning.

Duties & responsibilities:

  • Provide a professional standard of excellence in MRI services for all patients
  • Collaborate with Radiologists and Consultants to set policies and protocols for MRI imaging and patient pathways
  • Identify and implement ongoing improvements in MRI services
  • Assist in the daily operation of the imaging department
  • Support patient bookings and administrative duties as needed
  • Contribute to staff orientation and training

What you’ll bring:

  • Cardiac MRI experience is highly desirable
  • HCPC registration
  • Degree in Radiography
  • Extensive MRI experience
  • Strong knowledge of MRI processes and policies
