The London Bridge Hospital campus in South East London encompasses an outpatients and diagnostic centre in The Shard; the large world-class hospital based at the Tooley Street site; Private Care at Guys, which is on the top four floors of Guys Hospital Cancer Centre; and outpatient and diagnostic centres across the City and Canary Wharf.
As a Senior Radiographer within MRI, who would ideally have experience in cardiac, you'll provide a customer focused, high quality diagnostic Radiography service to our patients and service users; undertaking and performing all MRI procedures. This post will predominately cover four sites and each site will cover a range of MRI specialties including Neuro, MSK, Abdomen, ENT, Angio's as well as Cardiac scanning.
Duties & responsibilities:- Provide a professional standard of excellence in MRI services for all patients
- Work closely with the Radiologists and Consultants in setting up policies and protocols for all MRI imaging and patient pathways
- identify improvements on an ongoing basis and oversee the implementation of such improvements as agreed with the line manager
- Assist the day to day running of the imaging department
- Assist with patient bookings and administrative duties where necessary
- Assist with staff orientation and training
