Employment type: One-Year Fixed Term

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a professional and experienced administrator to join the Scottish Ambulance Service on a fixed term basis within the Clinical Directorate.

The post holder will provide a confidential, efficient, effective and high-quality administrative support service, with a particular focus on supporting the delivery of key activities associated with the Pathway Navigation Hub. Previous administrative experience within the NHS or a similar healthcare environment would be advantageous.

Applicants should be able to demonstrate:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail.
  • A high level of computer literacy, including experience of word processing, spreadsheets and supporting the production of reports.
  • The ability to use Microsoft 365 applications and specialised systems confidently and accurately.
  • Good organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise workload and work to deadlines.
  • A flexible, proactive and enthusiastic approach to supporting service delivery.
  • A commitment to providing a high-quality administrative service to the teams and clinicians we support.
