Job summary

NHS Professionals is seeking a Clinical Receptionist and Booking Clerk for Bassetlaw Hospital, Worksop. You will support outpatient services by registering patients and updating records in the Trust's systems.

You will assist with self-check in, handle telephone inquiries, and guide patients to departments. A background in reception and customer service is preferred; this is a temporary 3-month placement within the NHS.

Qualifications

• Experience in an NHS or healthcare reception preferable
• Proficient with computers and data entry
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients, validate information
• Update patient records on the Patient Administration System
• Assist patients with self-check in kiosks and record arrivals
• Handle Outpatient department phone inquiries
• Provide desk assistance and directions to other departments
