About The Role
An exciting career opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and energetic Systemic Family Therapist or Clinical Psychologist, to join Barnet’s REACH team. Here, you will be embedded within the REACH programme ‘Resilient, Engaged, Achieving Children Hub’. The REACH Programme brings together a multi-professional team to jointly assess, plan, and intervene with young people presenting with high risk/high vulnerability criterion including gang-involved, group offending, child sexual exploitation, frequent missing episodes, school exclusion, serious youth violence, low educational attainment/engagement, mental health needs or being a victim of crime.
We value and encourage your continuing professional development and will support you with professional supervision from your Line Manager in REACH alongside a Clinical Manager.
We offer excellent specialist CPD and training opportunities. The department has established strong working relationships with colleagues in Children’s Social Care, local NHS Trusts, and the Barnet 3rd sector. We also have links with the London Clinical Psychology and Systemic Training Schemes.
In addition to the salary quoted on the job description this salary attracts a Recruitment and Retention allowance of 10%. The salary range without this allowance is £54,627 - £59,739

About You
This role provides an opportunity for an ambitious and creative clinician to support the development of the BICS-REACH interface by providing psychotherapeutic interventions within complex family systems, where a young person may also be presenting with moderate mental health difficulties. You will also facilitate systemic consultations to social workers within REACH to develop their capacity to engage and support young people and families.
We would like to invite applications from clinicians who enjoy outreach, working flexibly and creatively with young people, families and inter agency partners, to improve the experiences and outcomes of the children, young people, and their families in the borough.
