My Atlas is seeking an experienced phlebotomist to join our private healthcare team at Atlas HQ in Wilmslow. You will deliver a professional, safe blood collection experience for clients and work as part of a busy clinical unit.
The role requires confident venepuncture, meticulous sample handling, accurate documentation and a reassuring, communicative manner. Training and support are provided, with a flexible start date and hourly pay in the £15–£18 range depending on experience.
My Atlas is looking for an experienced, confident and personable Phlebotomist to join our growing clinical team at Atlas HQ in Wilmslow.
We are a private healthcare provider specialising in advanced blood testing, preventative health, hormone health, fitness and performance, longevity and specialist diagnostics.
Our clients range from individuals simply wanting to understand their health better, through to athletes, bodybuilders, individuals undergoing TRT or HRT, and clients working proactively on their long-term health.
We are therefore looking for somebody who is not only technically excellent at taking blood, but who genuinely enjoys working within the private health and wellness space.
You will be responsible for delivering a professional, safe and welcoming blood collection experience for clients attending Atlas HQ.
Day-to-day responsibilities will include:
You should have previous practical phlebotomy experience and be comfortable carrying out venepuncture independently. We are open to training the correct candidate in phlebotomy in a private healthcare setting if suitable for the role.
We would particularly like to hear from candidates who have experience or a genuine interest in areas including:
Sports health, bodybuilding, athletic performance or working with physically active clients.
An understanding of testosterone replacement therapy, hormone monitoring and the type of regular blood testing undertaken within men's health.
Familiarity with hormone replacement therapy, female hormone health and menopause-related monitoring.
An interest in cardiovascular risk, metabolic health, biomarkers, preventative healthcare and proactive health optimisation.
Experience within private healthcare, pathology, functional medicine, wellness clinics or specialist diagnostic testing would be particularly valuable.
You do not need to be an expert in every area above.
Clinical training and support will be provided where appropriate, but an interest in understanding why our clients are testing - rather than simply collecting the sample - is important to us.
My Atlas is building a different type of private healthcare experience.
We believe people should be able to investigate their health proactively, understand their results and access appropriate clinical support rather than waiting until something becomes a problem.
You will be joining a growing company with an ambitious team, a modern clinic environment and the opportunity to work across a much broader range of health testing than traditional phlebotomy roles.
Start Date: To be agreed
Salary: £15.00-£18.00 per hour, dependent on experience and candidate.
