Job summary

NELFT NHS Foundation Trust is seeking Clinical Pharmacists at Band 6-7 progression to support the department and help achieve the Trusts values: We are kind. We are respectful.

We work together with our communities. You will work collaboratively as part of a specialist pharmacy team within mental health services (MHS) and community health services (CHS), delivering a comprehensive clinical service on a rotational basis across MHS and CHS with 6-month blocks.

Qualifications

• Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council.
• Good knowledge of medicines legislation relating to the supply and storage of medicines.

Responsibilities

• Lead/contribute to clinical audits, research and quality improvement projects.
• Lead/contribute to guideline/SOP/PGD/policy reviewing.
• Act as a Practice Supervisor for trainees and pre-registration staff.
• Participate in Pharmacy On-Call Service and Saturday service.
• Participate in provision of Dispensary services.
