We are recruiting forward-thinking clinical pharmacists to join our clinical pharmacy team based at Borders General Hospital, providing services throughout NHS Borders.
You will receive training and experience in various clinical services, dispensary, and aseptic services tailored to your personal development needs.
Our friendly and experienced teams will support you in providing pharmaceutical care to diverse patient groups, including Medicine, Surgery, Orthopaedics, Care of the Elderly, Cardiology, Stroke, Cancer Care, Palliative Care, Mental Health, and Intensive Care.
You will be encouraged to undertake continuous professional development, including Post Registration Foundation Training, independent prescribing, or other postgraduate studies, depending on your experience and needs.
You will support NHS foundation pharmacists, both BGH-based and community-based, during their hospital sector placements.
This role involves being part of the on-call and weekend working rota.
