Job description

Playing a key role within Forward Thinking Birmingham, we require Mental Health Nurses and Social Workers to work within our Referral Management Centre. You will ensure that high quality, clinically necessary care is being provided in the most appropriate and cost-effective therapeutic setting as part of Forward Thinking Birmingham's mental healthcare model (FTB). We are seeking a highly skilled Band 7 Clinical Nurse Specialist to take on a pivotal role within our triage team. This dynamic position involves providing expert clinical oversight to junior staff, conducting audits to validate and improve service standards, and optimizing patient flow through the service.

As a leader, you will facilitate both managerial and clinical supervision sessions, contribute to the development of staff by designing and delivering training that meets service needs, and offer specialist guidance to the clinical team. Additionally, the role involves collaborating with services within FTB to address challenges, and ensuring the service aligns with the latest clinical guidelines.
