Job summary

Chadwick Nott is recruiting a Clinical Negligence Solicitor for Manchester to join an international firm with a strong claimant practice. You will manage your own caseload and work closely with partners on high-value, complex matters, while developing your profile through business development activities.

The role offers hybrid working and the chance to contribute to a team focused on high-quality work, mentoring junior colleagues and building client relationships with experts and counsel.

Qualifications

• Qualified solicitor with 3-6+ PQE in clinical negligence.
• Experience handling claimant clinical negligence cases.
• Strong drafting, analytical and case management skills.
• Ability to build relationships with clients, experts and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Managing your own caseload of claimant clinical negligence matters, with supervision on more complex cases.
• Supporting Partners on high-value and complex litigation
• Drafting key legal documents including pleadings, witness statements, schedules of loss and settlement documentation
• Instructing and liaising with counsel, medical experts and other third parties
• Progressing claims from inception through to settlement or trial
• Contributing to business development, including networking and marketing initiatives

Clinical Negligence Solicitor - Manchester

Level: 3-6 PQE

Hybrid working

This is an exciting opportunity for a solicitor to join this international firm. The firm are seeking a clinical negligence solicitor to manage their own caseload and work closely on high-value and complex matters with partners and senior lawyers.

The team act for claimants in a range of high-value and often life-changing clinical negligence cases, often involving complex liability issues and expert evidence.

Responsibilities

• Managing your own caseload of claimant clinical negligence matters, with supervision on more complex cases
• Supporting Partners on high-value and complex litigation
• Drafting key legal documents including pleadings, witness statements, schedules of loss and settlement documentation
• Instructing and liaising with counsel, medical experts and other third parties
• Progressing claims from inception through to settlement or trial

About you

• Qualified solicitor with 3-6+ PQE
• Experience in claimant clinical negligence work
• Strong technical ability with experience handling a range of claimant clinical negligence claims
• Excellent drafting, analytical and case management skills
• Able to build strong relationships with clients, experts and colleagues
