Chadwick Nott in Manchester is seeking a Senior Associate solicitor to join the clinical negligence team. You will handle a demanding caseload of claimant clinical negligence matters, often high-value, with supervision on more complex cases.

Qualifications

• Qualified solicitor with 7+ PQE.
• Experience in claimant clinical negligence work.
• Strong technical ability with experience handling complex and/or high-value claims.
• Excellent drafting, analytical and case management skills.
• Proven ability to build strong relationships with clients, experts and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Managing your own caseload of claimant clinical negligence matters, with appropriate supervision on more complex cases
• Supporting Partners on high-value and complex litigation
• Drafting key legal documents including pleadings, witness statements, schedules of loss and settlement documentation
• Instructing and liaising with counsel, medical experts and other third parties
• Progressing claims from inception through to settlement or trial
• Contributing to business development, including networking and marketing initiatives
• Supervising and mentoring junior team members

Clinical Negligence Senior Associate - Manchester

Level: Senior Associate

Hybrid working

This is an exciting opportunity for a senior solicitor to join this international firm. The firm are seeking a senior clinical negligence solicitor who combines technical excellence with strong client relationship skills.

The team act for claimants in a range of high-value and often life-changing clinical negligence cases, often involving complex liability issues and expert evidence.

Responsibilities

• Managing your own caseload of claimant clinical negligence matters, with appropriate supervision on more complex cases
• Supporting Partners on high-value and complex litigation
• Drafting key legal documents including pleadings, witness statements, schedules of loss and settlement documentation
• Instructing and liaising with counsel, medical experts and other third parties
