Job summary

Greater Manchester Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust invites an enthusiastic Librarian to join the Library and Knowledge Services team. You will support staff, students and service users by delivering literature searches, training sessions, and current awareness services across a large mental health network.

Based at The Curve Library in Prestwich with some home working, the role offers opportunities to develop health librarianship and knowledge management skills while collaborating across

Qualifications

• Degree in Library/Information Management or equivalent.
• Postgraduate qualification or diploma in library/knowledge management is desirable.
• CILIP/MCLIP membership or working towards is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a comprehensive literature search service for clinical and non-clinical staff.
• Provide training sessions (one-to-one and group) face to face and virtually.
• Promote the Library and Knowledge Service across the Trust footprint.
• Create current awareness bulletins on health topics.
• Catalogue and index new stock and manage e-resources.
• Maintain LMS and website/intranet pages.
• Support service improvement and quality KPIs.
