Job summary

Greater Manchester Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Library and Knowledge Services professional to support evidence-based practice across the Trust. You will conduct comprehensive literature searches, provide information skills training, and help maintain online resources and stock.

You will work with clinical and non-clinical staff, promoting access to information, liaising with departments, and developing stock and policy guidance to support high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Advanced literature searching skills required.
• Excellent IT skills incl. databases, internet, MS Office and LMS.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Organisational and prioritisation skills with initiative.
• Experience delivering training and presentations.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a comprehensive literature search service for staff.
• Provide information skills training and workshops, in-person and virtual.
• Maintain and develop Library & Knowledge Service web pages and resources.
• Promote and market library services across the Trust and partners.
