SWJ Search is recruiting a Permanent Clinical Lead for a nursing home in the Newcastle area. You will lead the nursing team, deliver high‑quality clinical care and oversee care plans, supervision, and records.

The role requires hands‑on leadership with 35 hours weekly across days/nights. The successful candidate will be NMC registered with experience in older people’s care, a commitment to quality, and the ability to mentor staff and liaise with families.

Qualifications

• A relevant nursing qualification and current registration with the NMC.
• Experience in a similar lead role in older people’s care.
• Strong knowledge of care plans and clinical compliance.
• Ability to review health needs and lead a team to raise standards.

Job Summary

Permanent Clinical Lead in a nursing home in the Newcastle area. The service supports older people, including people living with dementia, and provides nursing and residential care. You report to the registered manager and you lead the nursing.

The hours are 35 a week, worked flexibly across days and nights. The annual NMC fee is paid. Uniform, parking and tea and coffee are free. There is a contributory pension with enhanced employer contributions, enhanced sick pay, and free life assurance.

We need a nurse who already knows older people's care and can lead a team without being new to the responsibility. The work is hands on clinical judgement as well as supervision, records and cover when the manager is off.
