Job summary

NHS Supply Chain is seeking a clinically qualified Interventional Radiology Specialist to join our national Clinical Team. You will lead a dedicated clinical portfolio and advise on safe, high-quality, cost-effective products and services for NHS organisations nationwide.

Reporting to the Head of Clinical Lead, you will influence product strategy, range optimisation, and service resilience, working with NHS providers, professional bodies, and suppliers to improve patient safety and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Clinically qualified healthcare professional with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong analytical, IT and problem-solving skills to support evidence-based decision making.
• Ability to build professional relationships across healthcare organisations and industry.

Responsibilities

• Engage with clinicians, NHS providers and procurement teams to understand product requirements.
• Build and maintain relationships with healthcare professionals, suppliers and stakeholders.
• Lead product evaluations, develop specifications and use clinical data to support decisions.
• Drive product optimisation and standardisation initiatives to improve outcomes and value.
• Provide clinical leadership across projects and ensure delivery of objectives.
• Collaborate with NHS organisations, professional bodies and industry partners on national strategies.
• Travel regularly across the UK to NHS hospitals and Supply Chain locations for collaboration.
