Job summary

Greater Manchester Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Clinical Lead for Complex Emotional and Relational Needs (CERN) to provide clinical leadership across Wigan pathways and to drive service development in collaboration with Experts by Experience.

The post holder will supervise locality teams, support MDT professionals, and deliver therapeutic interventions including SCM and MBT, with opportunities to train and accreditation across core modalities as part of ongoing professional

Responsibilities

Lead the Wigan CERN pathways across adult and older adult community services, ensuring best practice and collaboration with Experts by Experience (EBE).
Provide clinical leadership, supervision, support and consultation to locality teams.
Through consultation with people with CERN, support MDT professionals in case management as required.
Provide therapeutic interventions for complex emotional and relational needs, including SCM and MBT.
Provide clinical supervision to Senior Practitioners for CERN and other staff requiring expert supervision.
Provide training on therapeutic interventions for CERN.
Ensure effective evaluation and development of CERN pathways in line with Trust strategy.
Collaborate with wider psychological professionals and contribute to the Psychological Therapies Hub and community mental health service transformation.
Train/accredit in core modalities (SCM, MBT, EMDR, CBT-P&B, CAT, or BFT) or undertake training/accreditation as required.
