Job summary

Bradford District Care NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Mental Health Practitioner to lead the Complex Emotional Needs (CEN) Pathway across Bradford, Aire Wharfe and Craven. The role involves clinical leadership, pathway development and multi-agency collaboration to improve outcomes for service users with complex emotional needs.

The post requires SCM expertise, strong governance adherence and the ability to provide supervision and training to frontline staff.

Qualifications

• Degree-level qualification in a core profession or equivalent clinical psychology training.
• Evidence of SCM training and ongoing professional development.
• Experience leading clinical pathways and multi-agency collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead operational delivery of the Complex Emotional Needs (CEN) Pathway.
• Coordinate SCM delivery within the CEN Pathway with governance compliance.
• Provide supervision and training to staff supporting the pathway.
• Maintain clinical expertise through direct SCM care.
• Support reduction of inappropriate detentions and avoidable admissions.
