Job summary

Greater Manchester Mental Health (GMMH) Foundation Trust is seeking an innovative Clinical Lead for Complex Emotional and Relational Needs (CERN) to provide clinical leadership and drive service development in Wigan. The post includes an on-call rota and weekend commitments as part of a permanent, full-time arrangement.

You will lead CERN pathways across adult and older adult community services, supervise teams, and deliver evidence-based interventions such as SCM and MBT, with opportunities for

Qualifications

• Registered professional qualification (RMN / Psychologist / OT / Social Worker or equivalent).
• Evidence of accredited training in SCM or MBT.
• Masters level qualification with post-qualifying education.

Responsibilities

• Clinically lead CERN pathways across adult and older adult community services.
• Provide clinical leadership, supervision and consultation to locality teams.
• Engage with people with CERN to support MDT management of cases.
• Provide therapeutic interventions including SCM and MBT as required.
• Supervise Senior Practitioners for CERN and other staff needing expert supervision.
• Provide training on therapeutic interventions for CERN.
• Evaluate and develop CERN pathways in line with Trust strategy.
• Collaborate with psychological professionals for service development.
