Job summary

Greater Manchester Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust seeks a Clinical Lead for Complex Emotional and Relational Needs (CERN) to guide the CERN service and drive development across adult and older adult community pathways.

The post holder will provide expert supervision, training, and collaborative leadership while ensuring high-quality care and outcomes for service users within a co-produced, patient-centred framework.

Qualifications

• Provide clinical leadership across CERN pathways in adult and older adult services.
• Trained/accredited or willing to train in SCM, MBT, EMDR, CBT-P&B, CAT, or BFT.
• Support teams with supervision and consultation for CERN cases.

Responsibilities

• Clinically lead CERN pathways, ensure best-practice standards, and co-design with service users.
• Provide supervision, support and consultation to locality teams and MDT professionals.
• Deliver therapeutic interventions for CERN cases and train staff as required.
• Evaluate and develop CERN pathways in line with Trust strategy and service transformation.
