Job summary

PENNINE CARE NHS FOUNDATION TRUST is recruiting to strengthen clinical leadership across two CAMHS teams in the Greater Manchester area. The post focuses on expert work with children and young people with moderate to severe mental health needs and complex neurodiversity or learning disability factors.

The role provides clinical supervision, guides staff in risk assessment and management, and leads on the development of effective clinical pathways with partner services, aiming to improve care

Qualifications

• Experience leading CAMHS teams and providing clinical oversight.
• Knowledge of legislation relevant to child and adolescent mental health.
• Ability to develop and maintain clinical pathways between CAMHS and other services.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical leadership and structured supervision to the CAMHS teams.
• Lead on risk assessment, risk management, and debriefs after incidents.
• Oversee in-depth assessments and ongoing intervention as lead case manager.
• Develop confidence and competencies within the team for managing complex cases.
