Job summary

The Gloucestershire Health and Care NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Community Nursing Lead for the Cheltenham Integrated Community Team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. You will clinically lead and supervise a community nursing team, delivering direct and indirect patient care while monitoring quality through data and audits.

The role sits in a peer group with physiotherapy and occupational therapy and includes on-call duties.

Qualifications

• Post-registration community nursing experience.
• Relevant occupational qualification.
• Registration with NMC required.
• Experience in clinical team leadership and supervision.

Responsibilities

• Clinically lead, supervise and manage a community nursing team, working alongside them daily in direct and indirect patient care.
• Maintain and improve quality, monitoring standards using data, audits and reports.
• Identify service development and system opportunities with partners across health, social care and community networks.
• Build key relationships with internal and external stakeholders to promote and develop community nursing services.
