• Position: Clinical Fellow in Dermatology
• Location: Glasgow Royal Infirmary and Stobhill Hospital
• Duration: 12 months from August 25

Adult dermatology services in Greater Glasgow and Clyde are delivered by the Alan Lyell Centre for Dermatology, operating on a hub and spoke model. The Queen Elizabeth University Hospital hosts some specialized and tertiary services, serving approximately 1.5 million people in the West of Scotland.

Services are provided across eight hospital sites, including Glasgow Royal Infirmary, Inverclyde Royal Hospital, and others, offering outpatient dermatology services. The team comprises Consultants, Specialty Doctors, GP Clinical Assistants, and dermatology nurses. The QEUH serves as the hub for subspecialty clinics and the tertiary inpatient unit.

Applicants with previous dermatology experience are welcome, with no limit on months of prior training. Candidates should possess MRCP (UK) or equivalent, or have completed GP training. Duties involve work at the Alan Lyell Dermatology Centre. National terms and conditions apply.

Essential Requirements

• Minimum 24 months post-GMC registration experience, with evidence of Foundation Competencies and GP ST1 or CMT1 competencies.
• MRCGP or MRCP with Part 2 or qualifying for PACES.
