We have a Clinical Fellow position available at ST equivalent level, starting as soon as possible for a period of 4.5 months, with an immediate start.
The Queen Elizabeth University Hospital (QEUH) is a large teaching hospital offering a wide range of secondary acute care services. It has a strong academic and research base and excellent teaching reputation, with close links to the university.
You will join a large team of junior doctors in the stroke medicine department. These posts are not approved for training purposes by NES, but the department has an enthusiastic team of consultants and an education faculty to support your development. All successful candidates will be assigned an educational supervisor and may apply for funding to enroll in an e-portfolio program to record clinical experience and skills gained during this post.
To practice medicine in the UK, you need to hold both GMC full registration and a Licence to Practice.
Depending on your interests, there may be opportunities to work in departments of General Medicine, Neurology, or Medicine for the Elderly at QEUH.

Applicants who have not completed a UK foundation programme within 3.5 years of the post start date will need to submit a Certificate of Readiness to Enter Specialty Training (CREST), completed by a consultant who has worked with you for at least three months within the last 3.5 years.
