This full-time position is for 12 months starting August 25.
Adult dermatology services in Greater Glasgow and Clyde are provided by the Directorate of Dermatology at the Alan Lyell Centre for Dermatology. The Directorate operates on a hub and spoke model, with some specialized and tertiary services based at Queen Elizabeth University Hospital. This is the regional adult dermatology centre serving approximately 1.5 million people in the West of Scotland.
Local adult dermatology services are delivered at eight hospital sites, including Glasgow Royal Infirmary, Inverclyde Royal Hospital, Royal Alexandra Hospital, Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, Stobhill Hospital, Vale of Leven Hospital, Victoria Ambulatory Care Hospital, and West Glasgow ACH. Each site offers outpatient dermatology services.
Services are provided by a multidisciplinary team, including consultants, specialty doctors, GP clinical assistants, and specialist dermatology nurses. The QEUH serves as the hub for subspecialty clinics and the tertiary inpatient unit.
Applicants with previous dermatology experience are welcome, with no limit on months of prior training. Candidates should hold MRCP (UK) or equivalent, or be post-GP training. Duties involve work at the Alan Lyell Dermatology Centre within NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde. National terms and conditions apply.
To practice medicine in the UK, GMC registration and a license to practice are required.

Applicants without UK foundation programme experience within 3.5 years of the start date must submit a Certificate of Readiness to Enter Specialty Training (CREST), completed by a consultant who has worked with the applicant for at least three months within the last 3.5 years.
