Job summary

Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced Clinical Educator to provide clinically based practice development and education to the non‑medical workforce. You will role model best practice, support bedside learning, and collaborate with the multi‑disciplinary team to deliver high‑quality patient care.

The post holder will identify learning needs, coordinate training, and contribute to governance and quality assurance.

Qualifications

• All Candidates must have a UK recognised Intensive Care Course, at level 6 or 7 to be considered for this post
• Experience delivering education to non-medical workforce or similar setting
• Ability to coordinate education and practice development across teams

Responsibilities

• Act as an exemplary role model for best clinical practice
• Deliver education programmes at divisional level and cross-divisionally as needed
• Identify learning needs and support staff development
• Coordinate delivery and evaluation of training and education
• Contribute to clinical governance and quality assurance through education
• Promote inter-professional learning and safe patient care
• Maintain educational resources and portfolios for staff and learners
• Provide feedback and support to learners to improve performance
• Support induction and orientation of new colleagues
