Job summary

Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting for a clinically experienced nurse educator to deliver education and practice development for the non-medical workforce across the John Radcliffe, Churchill and associated sites.

The post requires an experienced practitioner with a UK recognised Intensive Care Course (level 6 or 7) and demonstrates a commitment to compassionate, evidence-based care.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (Part 1 of the register) / Registered Allied Health Professional
• UK recognised health degree relevant to post
• Evidence of specialist knowledge in clinical education and practice development
• Ability to place patients at the heart of care with empathy, teamwork and integrity
• UK recognised Intensive Care Course, at level 6 or 7

Responsibilities

• Act as an exemplary role model for best clinical practice and Trust values
• Work with learners to facilitate independent learning
• Manage time to balance clinical education and administrative activities
• Promote a collaborative inter-professional learning environment
• Deliver education programmes at divisional level and cross-divisionally as needed
• Assist in coordinating delivery and evaluation of training
• Contribute to education governance and quality assurance processes
• Provide induction and orientation for new staff
