Base: Beatson West of Scotland Cancer Centre
The Beatson Cancer Centre seeks to appoint a Clinical Development Fellow. The programme offers comprehensive training in Oncology, with placements in Palliative Medicine and Clinical Haematology. Fellows will participate in patient management under supervision, with opportunities in outpatient clinics, radiotherapy, and specialized units.
The centre comprises six wards (B1-B5, B7), focusing on non-surgical cancer treatments. Fellows will primarily be based in wards B1, B2, B4, B5, and B7. The fellowship emphasizes career development, CV enhancement, interview preparation, and professional growth. Fellows are expected to complete at least one audit project for presentation at a national or international meeting.
Candidates should ideally possess MRCP (UK/I) or equivalent by the start date. Experience in Oncology, Palliative Medicine, or Haematology is advantageous. The specialty offers excellent career prospects.
